How the Customer Profile Works
Basic customer information can be seen or edited in the customer profile tab.
Users must have customer view permissions to see this screen, and customer edit permissions to be able to make any changes here.
The customer profile is the second tab on the left side of a customer record, shown by a symbol of a person with a circle around it.
The customer’s full name, birthday, gender, and contact information is shown at the top.
Note: Gender is a drop down, and is not required.
The birthday can be entered by typing a date, or by clicking the calendar button.
Birthday bust be formatted mm/dd/yyyy
Below that, the user can see the customers barcode. This would have been generated when the customer was created, but there is a generate button in this page as well.
The Address fields are shown under the barcode.
If the customer’s ID has been verified, a user can click the toggle switch at the bottom of the profile page. It should show blue when selected.
Next to the “ID verified” button, the user can show that the customer has a signature on file by clicking the toggle button so that it turns blue.
