How to reset an officer's retirement due date

If you feel the retirement due date displayed in OMS for an officer is incorrect you can reset it which will prompt OMS to re-calculate the retirement due date. If an incorrect date is displayed it is likely due to being manually modified at some point.

Instructions

Users can “reset” the retirement due date which will cause OMS to calculate a new retirement due date based on the logic for the users territory.

  1. Open the officer record and navigate to the Service Dates screen.

  2. Click the edit icon next to the Retirement Due Date field.

     

  3. Remove the due date from the modal.

     

  4. Click “Save” on the modal without any date entered.

  5. OMS will calculate a new retirement due date and update the officer record.

  6. Depending on the situation the user may need to do this for both spouses.
