Settings
OMS offers users a variety of settings to allow them to configure the application for their territory. Review the articles below for more information...
User Security
Add OMS users and manage their access.
Edit Roles
Create a default set of user permissions for each role. This way, when you assign a user to a specific role they will automatically be given the basic permissions for that role.
Lookup Tables
The lookup tables are essentially lists of data that OMS references in other areas of the application. It will allow a user to select a table from a list and then edit the available data. For example, the list of Officer Moves Dates that can be chosen when creating a proposal are managed here. Other things are degree names, conference names, service credit types and much more!
Weekly Allowances
Manage the pay periods used in OMS allowance calculations. Enter the allowance rates for each year by creating a pay period.
Service Credits
Define how each service credit is applied to an officer’s record. Users can set the factor that helps calculate the amount of time to add or remove when a service credit is used.
Allowance Modifiers
Define the allowance modifiers and amounts used for each pay period.
Retirement Options
Manage the retirement allowance information and grant tables for each pay period.
