See the steps below to easily add a CCMS Turnstile/Express Kiosk. 

Step-by-step guide



Here are some instructions to get a turnstile going:

  • Install the full kiosk application on the machine, including the sync service, etc.

  • Set the kiosk up for auto-login and to run in appliance mode.

  • Allow time for the kiosk to sync data, and verify that it is working correctly as a standard kiosk.

  • Copy the latest version of the Express Kiosk zip file from the normal file share for your territory. (The territorial IT staff should have a link to this location).

  • Install the express kiosk application by unzipping the files into a folder on the kiosk.

  • Set the Express Kiosk as the application to run when the machine starts in appliance mode by changing the “Shell” registry setting in “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon” to point to the “TurnstileController.exe“ file in the folder created in the previous step.
