Community Connect Release Notes - October 2nd, 2018


The October release of Community Connect contains several fixes and enhancements. 

Enhancements

  • Updated the Kiosk, RMS and Online Sales card security (EMV)

    As part of ongoing credit card security enhancements, CommConn has updated all of the major components that handle card payments. This work helps ensure centers are compliant with the current card processing security standards. In order to accomplish this, work was completed on the Kiosk, RMS, and recurring processing.

    • Updated card processing to meet new EMV PCI requirements
    • Removed support for PCIBox from the Kiosk, RMS and recurring process
    • Removed the option to select PCIBox in the Kiosk screens in the Kroc Admin and Kiosk Admin applications
    • Formatted sales receipts to meet new standards
    • Updated printed credit card approval slip
    • Added credit card decline slips to be printed when a card is declined
    • Added kiosk message to help clerks determine which approval slips require signatures and which do not

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a problem when applying discounts to concession items

     As a member eligible for a discount on a particular concession item, I should receive that discount on the item whether or not the concession item requires a customer to be selected. In the addressed bug, if the concession item was set to require a customer, the discount was not applied. 

  • Fixed a problem with customers receiving multiple auto pay failure emails

    When customers tried to fix their credit card information they would receive multiple auto pay failure emails.

Reports

  • Updated the Cumulative Stats Overview by Kroc Center report

    The following changes were made to the report:

    1. Renamed the report to "Cumulative Stats Overview by Center"
    2. Changed the header to "Cumulative Statistics Overview"
    3. Changed "Kroc Center Totals" to "Cumulative Totals"
