How to Check-In Attendees to a Class


Mobile users now have the flexibility of checking in customers to classes from a mobile device! The process is simple and gives users the ability to get attendance out of the way quickly and painlessly.

Step-by-step guide

The check-in process is the same for both roster and drop-in classes. 

Check-In

  1. Open the desired class details.
  2. Select the "activities" tab.

  3. Choose the desired activity to check-in customers. Users can only check-in customers for an activity that has completed, is in-session or is next to occur. These are designated with the "check-in" icon.

    Only instructors can check-in customers to classes. Users that are not instructors can see the attendance list but not check-in guests.

  4. Select the check mark for the customer in the list.

    If the user is an instructor but not for the selected class, they will need to select the "Unlock" button in order to check-in customers.

  5. Once selected, the check will turn green and the customer has been successfully checked in!

    Note the total number of customers checked in will display in front of the projected attendance (see the "2" in front of 5/20).


Statistics

Optionally, instructors can also record other statistics for each activity. They can adjust the number of "non-registered attendees" and the total number of attendees will automatically update.

The "Check-Ins" amount cannot be changed as it is being totaled from the "Check-In" tab.

In addition to attendance, instructors can log the statistics for instructors and volunteers. Once done editing the statistic fields hit "Update" and the numbers will save.
