Search for a Mobile Class

The classes module is a valuable resource to mobile users as it means they can find information on the fly about classes in their center. When users are asked questions about specific classes in their center they can quickly search for the class and provide immediate and accurate details for the customer. There are several methods to search classes to see what is available in a center and review the details. 



Step-by-Step Guide

By default, the classes module will display the classes that the user has recently viewed and show upcoming activities. There are two ways to search customer records; Quick Search, and Advanced Search.

  • Text manually entered in the "Search" field will be used to search the following fields: Description, Display Name, Class Type, Category, Marketing Description, Instructor and Registration Number.

  • Classes will NOT be returned if the Registration End Date is prior to today's date. 



Quick Search

  1. The quick search is used by typing text in the search box and hit enter. The search checks the entered text against applicable fields on ALL classes and will any possible matches occurring in the next 30 days.



  2. When the search is executed it will list all classes that match on the entered text.



After the list of search results will be a list of recently viewed classes.

Advanced Search

  1. Perform more in-depth searches by expanding the advanced search dialog.



  2. The advanced search allows users to specify values for fields.



  3. Click search and the customer record fields matching will be listed.



When users perform an advanced search the query text used will be displayed. Users can manually modify these or open the advanced search to adjust the parameters.
