How to map a site to a custom domain

This article will teach you how to set up your site so it can be accessed from a non-salvationarmy.org domain.

Instructions

Before Launch

  1. Go to the management portal (https://webmanager.salvationarmy.org/management)

  2. Click Domain / Site Mappings

  3. Select Create Domain, enter your custom domain, & click Save

     

  4. Double click your newly added domain and click Add Site Mapping. You’ll then search for your site and click Select Site to map your site to this domain

     

  5. Select your newly added site in the mapping list and click Set as Default

     

Launching Your Site

  1. Go to your DNS settings at your domain provider (GoDaddy, etc)

  2. Add a new CNAME record for wm4.salvationarmy.org
