This is an overview of some common concepts and terms that are used throughout Symphony.

Modules & Module Builders

Modules are sections of modular content within the Symphony ecosystem. On the admin side, the editors for each module are called “Module Builders”. Below is an example of a Worship module builder and its corresponding module on the homepage:

 

 

Branded Content

Branded content is the collection of curated images and videos that are made available for use by all the Symphony users in the Territory. This media is uploaded and maintained in Conductor.

Syndication

Syndication is the act of sharing content from Conductor to a local site. A THQ Conductor can syndicate to a local site, or if the division has a DHQ Conductor, THQ can share the asset with DHQ to be syndicated (or not) from there.
