What’s new in 2020.11.2

 

USE

Volunteer Opportunities Module

  • This new module connects to our Red Kettle Worker application to pull in current volunteer opportunities for the location in view

  • Users will be able to search by zip, city, state, etc. or click “Use my location” to search by their current zip code

  • After loading, they can browse the map to view more locations

Admin

  • Edits can be made to the Free Text Area portion in admin, but available shifts are managed in the Red Kettle Worker application

  • Edits can be made to the Volunteer Statistics portion in Conductor

  • These stats will be for the whole territory for the previous Kettle season

USW Kroc

Add ability to edit existing files

  • This is a stop-gap until we build a more robust media control in Symphony

  • To manage the images and files for your site, go to https://webmanager.salvationarmy.org/MYSITE/admin/media/file

  • When you select a file, an edit button will appear, which allows you to select a new file to replace all occurrences of the existing file

  • This is helpful if you need to edit an image or PDF that’s referenced in many locations
