3/31/2023 Deployment

This release focused on the following changes and bug fixes:

OMS

  • Fixed a Moves issue where users were able to add a person not serving in their territory to a linked proposal.

  • Fixed an issue where a previous marriage was replacing a current marriage in the officer heading. This only happened when the current marriage relationship didn’t have an OMS record.

  • Fixed an issue where service credits with a future date were not applied correctly.

    • The Effective Date should be used to define when the credits should apply, which is typically the end date of the credit range.

    • The Effective Date is also used to determine when to apply a YMD credit value that doesn’t have a date range.

    • The Allowance Worksheet was updated to handle the end date as the effective date of the service credits.

  • Reports

    • In order to help manage privacy, report options were updated to mask the full Social Security Number by default. Users will have the option to see the entire number if needed.

      • Active Allowance Worksheet (from Allowances Worksheet screen)

      • Retired Allowance Worksheet (from Retired Allowances Worksheet screen)

      • Retired Allowance Worksheets report

    • Updated the Officer Directory report.

      • Added a person type parameter. This will allow users to specify the types of person records to return.

      • Fixed an issue when the report parameter “Group Out-of-Territory Separately“ was set to “Yes” some officers were not listed with their spouses.

2/27/2023 Deployment

This release focused on the following changes and bug fixes:

OMS Contacts

  • Added a new Browse Organization button to allow users to view a read-only version of the selected territory’s organization tree.

  • Updated the search to match unit names in addition to person names.

  • Fixed the search to ensure relatives were not being returned.

OMS

  • Removed the dependency on the Devnext Email Service.

    • OMS now sends all emails directly to SendGrid (the third-party tool used to send all emails).

1/9/2023 Deployment

This release focused on the following changes and bug fixes:

OMS

  • Fixed the length of service calculation to account for former officers.

    • When former officers returned as active envoys, OMS was incorrectly adding their envoy service to their officer length of service.

  • Fixed issue with User Security, where the survey permissions were not limiting users to the set command restriction.

  • Fixed an issue on the Retired Allowances screen where the retired factor was being applied twice to the extenuating circumstances amount.

  • Fixed an issue on the Retired Allowances screen so the “Override” button is always active. It was previously disabled if the officer had less than 10 years of service.

  • Updated the Moves Linked Proposal screen to display a message to the user after it has been executed.

    • This will help prevent users from seeing a “timeout” error which had no impact on the execution of the moves.

  • Reports

    • The Surveys report was fixed so that it will return all of a user’s responses even if they didn’t fully complete their survey (to 100%).

    • The Child Birthdays report was fixed so that results are based on the territory of service rather than the home territory.

    • The USW Marching Orders report was updated to display their new THQ address.

    • The Retired Allowance Worksheet was updated to ensure the correct long service amount is awarded to retired, remarried (but not widowed) female officers who retired prior to 2017 while married to an officer, then divorced, then remarried a non-officer in retirement.

Service Review

  • Fixed the Service Review site so that comments are confidential until the review has been started.

    • Users with the role of “Reviewer” or “Unit Commander” will see all comments, all of the time.

    • Users with the role of “Person in Review” will not see comments made by others until AFTER the review has started.

    • Observers should never be able to see any comments.

  • Updated Officer Review>Administration:

    • Added an option called “Include Scale” to turn on or off the rating scale on any specific review.

      • The default is for the rating scale to be “On” when a review is created.

    • Added an option to include the “Not Applicable” response in the rating average.

      • It is only displayed if “Include N/A Response” is enabled.
