The brand new, Community Connect Kiosk is here and it shows off a completely new interface! It packs in tons of features in an intuitive experience. The kiosk was written from the ground up with the users in mind. The following articles will help explore the available functionality for users. 



Explore

Please take a few minutes to review the kiosk overview and see how this useful tool will assist you everyday! The kiosk offers a variety of visual queues which provide users with quick feedback as they navigate through each screen in the kiosk. For example, customers with active memberships will have a blue ring around the customer picture.

Landing Page

The kiosk will start up in the landing page each time. It quickly allows users access to the daily agenda or program guide as well as offering them useful information in the kiosk heading. The available options on the landing screen will depend on whether or not a user has logged in and to which permissions the user has access.

User permissions will dictate what options are available after the user has logged into the kiosk.

Sign In

Once a Community Connect user has been created, the user can login using their pin. All access in the application is governed by user permissions. Users will only be able to see and do what their user has been set to allow.

Recent Entries

Kiosk users will have access to a recent entries feature which is a great tool that allows users to quickly see a list of customers that have entered the facility. It will allow users to personally engage customers and allows them to select a customer to quickly open the customer record.

A user must login to access the recent entry list.

Daily Agenda

The daily agenda will highlight classes that occur on today's date. 


Program Guide

The program guide lists all active classes ordered by class name. Users can elect to search and quickly get a list of matching classes.


Customers

The customers feature provides tons of useful information on ALL customers in a center. The module offers extremely useful tools like an agenda that shows upcoming classes the customer will attend or any emergency contact information.

Register

The sales module will allow users to complete membership, activity, rental, gift card/punch card, concession, or day pass sales. The cart is always visible and allows users to edit items, add coupons and complete transactions easily.

A user must be logged in and given permissions to access and perform certain tasks in the sales module


Settings

From the Kiosk configuration screen users can set up their devices, and turn them on and off quickly.
