Load the person record
Click on the "Service Dates" menu option
Click on the "Manage Credits" link

Enter the "Effective Date"

Enter an amount, ONE of two options
"Date Range" will calculate the time between two dates, OR
"Date Values" will allow the user to enter an exact amount of time

Optionally, users can choose to apply the credit details to a spouse or add comments
Click "Save"
The service credits are applied to the person record
