By enabling biometrics, the login process can be streamlined for the Community Connect Mobile application. Biometrics authentication is used in mobile applications as a form of identification and access control. Turning on biometrics in the mobile application will allow users to simply use their devices features and skip the manual login process.

titleA few things to note...

Info

Before biometrics can be turned on the user's device must support some form of biometric identification (fingerprint scanner, facial recognition).

Tip

It is NOT suggested to enable biometric functions on devices used by multiple people as this could give people access to other Community Connect users.

Note

When a user resets or changes their password they will need to re-enter their password at login before the biometric functions can be used.

Step-by-step guide
