Adding a new an Ingenico device to a kiosk is not a difficult task. See the steps below to easily add one of these credit card devices to your kiosk.
Step-by-step guide
installing an Ingenico on an existing kiosk is very simple:
- Plug in the device's network cable and power (not the USB cable yet), and allow it to boot to the Salvation Army logo.
- Open Windows Device Manager and expand the ports section.
- Plug the in the USB cable and allow Windows to automatically install the driver, while watching the Device Manager ports to see what new COM port number appears.
- Go into the Kiosk configuration screen and set the credit card terminal port to that new COM port .
- Restart the kiosk.
