Stories

Stories are essentially blog posts that are aggregated/indexed on a "Stories" landing page.

In the backend, Stories can be previewed as they would appear on the landing page. In the Manage Stories section, they can be featured, shown/hidden, edited, or archived. When a Story is featured, it displays in a larger format with the featured image as the background. Featured Stories can be sorted and are limited to 5 Stories. Once it's been archived, a Story can be restored (unarchived), edited, or deleted permanently.

Backend

Frontend

Editor

The Story Editor doesn't use property builders, but instead lays out the necessary fields in an easy to use manner.

Backend

Frontend

Events

Events are used to display activities or gatherings in a chronological list that is easy to ingest. There is no support for a calendar view at this point, but is something in which users have conveyed interest.

In the backend Manage Events section, they can be featured, shown/hidden, edited, or archived. When an Event is featured, it displays in a larger format with the featured image as the background. Featured Events can be sorted and are limited to 5 Events. Once it's been archived, an Event can be restored (unarchived), edited, or deleted permanently. Events archive themselves automatically once they are over, so if an Event is scheduled for 5/28, and is not a recurring Event, it will be archived on 5/29.
