What’s New…
11/20/2020 - Unit Portal v 1.0.1.2
Fixed an issue where the UP site would hang when attempting to save a change.
Previously, the application was showing two different lists. A flat search result list and a complete list; because they were two different lists, there were duplicates (so a change to one-item would not be a change to its duplicate, causing differences.
We are now just using one-list to display everything. The application is smart enough now to toggle between showing a tree view or a flat list if needed, but ultimately it is all the same list of data.
Fixed an issue where the "Include Snapshot" toggle was not saving appropriately. Now both the "Include in Snapshot" and "Export to GDOS" toggles work as expected and are saving properly when creating a new type, or when editing an existing type.
Fixed an issue when a Type was deleted it was not removed from the list. When the user deletes a Type, it is now removed from the list and the details page is cleared and disabled. This is working properly whether the user is deleting from the main list, or a search result list. Types can be added, saved, and deleted without any issues after changes.
10/21/2020 - Unit Portal v 1.0.1.1
This release focused on the following improvements:
Updated the system to when a user deletes a parent unit that has a child unit, a yellow banner will now display letting the user know.
Updated Unit Portal to allow users to show or hide units marked as “Inactive”.
By default, the list will not include inactive units, but there is now the toggle in the Advanced Popup that has an option to include inactive units. If that is toggled on - the user will see inactive units with a line through it. This toggle does not change the search results, it just shows and hides inactive units.
Issues addressed in this release:
Fixed an issue with the loading indicator to display properly when switching between Units.
Fixed an issue that will now update the list when a unit is marked ‘inactive’.
Fixed an issue to ensure any edits at the territory level will now save as intended.
Fixed an issue with THQ displaying matches improperly.
Previously, THQ was showing matches for the previously clicked on Unit and not THQ matches.
Fixed an issue with THQ not displaying any matches.
Previously, when you enter the UnitPortalWeb application and click on THQ, “No Matches” would display incorrectly.
Fixed an issue where the user can now make and save matches between multiple systems without any saving or loading issues.
10/8/2020 - Unit Portal v 1.0.1
This release focused on the following improvements:
Updated Unit Portal to have tooltips on all icons in the UnitPortalWeb project.
Issues addressed in this release:
Fixed an issue to ensure THQ is shown as a Unit.
Fixed an issue so items should be capitalized appropriately.
Fixed an issue with the API call that caused the system to take a significant amount of time to resolve.
Fixed an issue when the user is performing a lookup in the application, the user should now be taken to where there are current matches.
Fixed an issue when a child unit is deleted so the system will no longer give you an error when trying to delete a parent unit.
Fixed an issue when the THQ Unit does not show expanded when a unit is deleted.
9/29/2020 - Unit Portal v 1.0
The first version of Unit Portal is a complete re-write of the old Citrix-Windows based application which has been converted into a web application. All of the previous UP functionality has been carried forward in the web version, Unit Portal v 1.0. Users can access it via a specific web address to view units and make changes as they did in the previous version of the application. Administrators will govern the application permissions via Azure to designate which users can access Unit Portal.

The following are some screen shots from the new Unit Portal to provide a glimpse into the new redesign and layout.
There is a 'Save' icon in the top-right side of the header (next to 'Add', 'Delete', and 'Logout'). There is one screen in the UnitPortalWeb application that does not show a 'Save' icon and that is in the Setup Locations screen. There the system makes automatic saves on click, so when you delete or add a location, the system is automatically saving changes.
