How to Update the Kiosk








Users will be informed at sign in that a new update exists for the Kiosk. The Kiosk can be updated at this time, or through the Kiosk menu.

Updating at Sign In

Immediately after signing in, a user will see a dialog asking them to update the Kiosk, if a new update is available

They can choose not to complete the update at this time if they want, they just need to click “Cancel” in this dialog.

Clicking “Cancel” here does not mean they cannot update the Kiosk. They can still update through the Menu. See the steps below for information on updating this way.

If they would like to go ahead and update now, they can click the “Okay” button.

The update will exit Kiosk and it will start back up with the latest version. The current version number can be seen at the bottom of the kiosk when the user is on the home page.

Updating Through the Kiosk Menu

To update through the Kiosk Menu, users should just click the Menu button in the top right corner of the Kiosk, then click “Update Kiosk” from the menu options.

They will be shown a confirmation dialog, asking if they want to update the Kiosk.

If “Okay” is clicked, but there is not an update available, the user will see a dialog informing them that they are already on the latest version.

If there is an update available, the Kiosk will close and restart with the new version. The version number can be seen at the bottom of the home page.
