The OMS application is on a bi-weekly update cycle. This means that if there are changes ready to be deployed they will be deployed in the next scheduled deployment day. Deployments are normally completed every other Monday. The following items have been released to production.

What's New…

5/24/2021 Deployment

This release focused on the following bug fixes:

  • Updated the Bulletin Report used by the Canadian territory.

  • Updated the Officer Moves Detail Report:

    • The current and new addresses should be the quarters/residence address.

    • The “New Appointment ID” will now be populated prior to the execution of the proposal.

  • Fixed a problem on the Service Dates page where dates were not saving.

    • Retirement Due Date

    • Long Service Received Date

    • Promotion Received Date

  • Fixed an issue related to the quick search and advance search so that it returns results correctly.

  • Fixed an issue on the comments screen where users could not edit a comment.

  • Fixed an issue where APIs were timing out because they were taking too long.

  • Fixed an issue where the remove wizard PTG workflow was not correctly ending a marriage relationship or marital status.

  • Fixed an issue with non-officer records where the contacts screen was not loading.

  • Fixed several issues on the health leave table on the Personal Info page.

    • Comments should not be required.

    • Private comments can be saved.

    • Users can delete comments after they have been saved.

  • Updated ad hoc reports.

    • Updated the available fields related to health entries; removed unnecessary ones, and renamed the date fields.

    • Fixed an issue where not all health entry types were being returned in the results.


4/14/2021 Maintenance Deployment

This release focused on addressing required IHQ maintenance (SpringBoot) changes:

  • Updated OMS to function with major backend maintenance changes initiated by IHQ.

    • This fixed an issue users saw where recent changes were reverted to previous data when a new page was loaded.


1/6/2021 Deployment

This release focused on the following improvements:

  • Fixed a problem on the Service Dates page where Review dates were not saving.

    • Also fixed a problem where the date being saved was showing the day before.

  • Updated the Service Dates page to display the “Separation Date” above the retirement eligible date.

  • The Personnel Information page Health table…

    • Fixed an issue where the dates were not saving.

    • Updated the Due and Completed labels to be “Due/Start” and “Completed/Ended”.

    • Fixed a problem so comments are not required and can be removed or made “private” if desired.

  • Fixed an issue with the Remove Wizard to ensure when an officer is PTG’d the fields are set correctly.

  • Fixed a problem with Ad Hoc reports to ensure edits to the title and description save correctly.

  • Fixed an Ad Hoc issue where Health fields were not returning data correctly.

  • Fixed a Survey issue so users can print previous survey results.

  • Fixed an issue on the Organization page where future appointment start dates where not showing the officer in the appointment history (with the future date).

  • Fixed the landing page alert “Children of Retired Officers Who Are Over 18 and Still Marked as Dependent“ to include child names and make results hyperlinked.
